Clothing probably isn’t something that you think about a lot. Sure, you get up every day and need to pick out what to wear, but how often do you think about what other people are wearing? Well, when you’re a costume designer, you have to think about it all the time. Not to toot my own horn, but costuming is one of the most essential elements that make theatre work. It allows you to lose yourself in the environment of the show. I spent a lot of time researching, digging through the costume closet, and fixing any damaged costumes, (Couldn’t do it without my fellow costumer, Crow!) so come and see them!
